Learn how to sew woven and knit fabrics
Leave with a minimum of 2 finished projects
Students will learn skills on a serger, coverstitch, and computerized sewing machine by sewing together their own projects using a variety of knit and woven fabrics.
Some of the skills students will learn include:
-Identify different types of knit and woven fabrics along with their attributes
-Read paper and digital sewing patterns
-Serging, hemming, and assembling garments
-How to thread the different machines
-Cutting fabric safely
-Various sewing techniques
-How to properly measure and read size guides
and much more!
Class max: 5 students
Ages: 8-17
Adult classes: 18+
Classes run for 6 weeks, 80-minute classes each week.
All materials and supplies are provided.

Class is taught by Mrs. Kayla. Owner and creator at Spunky June, a handmade clothing store established in 2013.Currently registering for 2027 Session 1.

Times: 9-10:20 am (youth) OR 11 am-12:20 pm (adults)
